Eastman Kodak,
Brownie Target Six-16 Camera, 1946-1951

A simple Kodak box camera with an attractive art deco front faceplate. The camera is opened by pulling out the film advance knob and pulling up the front strap grommet. The front plate and film system then slides out in one piece.

Following the release of 616 and 620 film in the mid 1930s, Kodak models that would have been named No. 2 or 2A became 'Six-20' and 'Six-16' for these new film designations. 620 and 616 film were intended to replace 120 and 116 size film.

Ironically, the 120 film used by No. 2 size cameras, introduced in 1901, is still the choice of many professionals today while 616 and 620 size films are no longer manufactured.
