Three Advertisements for Scovill & Adams, 1890s
Common theme: Henry Clay Camera

I find these ads very interesting since they come from a period where manufacturers took great care to put either pictures of photographic hardware, or photographs taken with said hardware, into their advertisements. They are quite cryptic, really, a novel approach for the early- to mid-1890s. Fellow collector Rob Niederman is an expert on the Henry Clay Camera, and his comprehensive Web site should not be missed. (Just remember to come back here!)
