Eastman Kodak
No. 2 Stereo-Kodak Camera, 1901-1905
![]() |
Kodak's only stereo box camera. The No. 2 Stereo-Kodak was closely patterned after the successful Bulls-Eye Cameras, everything from film transport and design to exterior leather and controls. The shutter was a special version of Eastman's Automatic, the lenses, simple meniscus. The camera took a pair of 3½ x 3½ inch images on size 101 rollfilm. |

In the image at right, the camera is sitting on its back. The one-piece bottom and sides have been removed as would be necessary for film loading or unloading. You can see some of the film transport system, and also the trademark of the early Kodak Bulls-Eye cameras - highly polished wood construction. |
