No. 2 Citex Camera
Unknown Manufacturer, American or British, circa 1910-1925
| A simple black box camera with no obvious
lineage. Primitive construction of cardstock and metal suggests U.S.
manufacture, but the "Citex" name could have its origin with
City Sale & Exchange of London, who used the product names "Salex"
and "Planex" to market cameras during the early-1900s.
The No. 2 Citex takes 6 x 9 cm images on size 120 rollfilm, and sports a single reflex viewfinder and single-speed shutter. |
