Eastman Kodak
No. 2A Folding Pocket Brownie Camera, 1910-1915

| The Folding Pocket Brownie series was marketed as a more grown-up
version of the basic box-style Brownie Camera. The No. 2A designation
refers to size 116 rollfilm and an image size of 2½ x 4¼ inches. The
camera was a successor to the Folding Brownie line, and was offered with
both red and black bellows, though not concurrently. It sold for $7.00
when introduced, considerably more expensive than the $3.00
No. 2A Brownie in box form.
Despite the word "Pocket" in its name, this was a large camera, and only the deepest pocket would have been able to accommodate it. |
