Eastman Kodak
Brownie Developing Box, 1905-1920
|
|
|
| The Brownie Developing Box was a tool that made
daylight film
development possible for users of the No. 1
and No. 2 Brownie Cameras. A crank on the
lower left side of the unit allowed film to be safely unrolled inside,
and following the addition of chemistry, the photographer would rock the
box on the stand (lower picture, middle).
This specific Brownie Developing Box comes to the BoxCameras.com Collection from the Kodak Patent Museum, and still bears a small tag with identifying data. |
