"Photography with Blair's Cameras becomes a delightful pastime."
The Blair Tourograph and Dry Plate Co., 1884

The Blair Tourograph and Dry Plate Company was incorporated in 1881 by Thomas Blair. The Tourograph was an unusual field camera designed and marketed by Blair. This name was in use through 1886.

Blair would go on to be a prolific manufacturer of field and detective cameras right through 1899, when the company, now known as the Blair Camera Company, was purchased by Eastman Kodak.
