Advertising Slug, Folding Plate Camera, circa 1900

A lead-on-wood advertising "slug" used for print advertising. It shows a generic folding plate camera and pneumatic bulb release open and ready for use.

This small (1 x 1.5 inches) block may have been used for newspaper, magazine, or catalog advertising in the early 1900s when these cameras were at their most popular.
